Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how TREDWLL ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Aurum Iovis Ventures LLC, collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit tredwll.com, place an order, or otherwise interact with us. Please read it before you use the site.
SECTION 1 — WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you buy something from us, we collect the personal information you give us as part of that transaction: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the payment details needed to take the order.
When you browse the site, we automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address, along with information about your browser and operating system. This is how the store stays secure and how we understand which pages people actually read.
With your permission, we may email you about your order, new products or offers. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We do not run an SMS marketing programme.
SECTION 2 — CONSENT
How do you get my consent? When you give us personal information to complete a transaction, verify your card, arrange a delivery or return an item, we take it that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific purpose. If we ask for your information for a secondary reason — marketing, for example — we ask you outright and you can decline.
How do I withdraw my consent? Write to us through our contact page. Withdrawing consent for marketing does not affect our ability to finish an order you have already placed, or to keep the records the law requires us to keep.
SECTION 3 — DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if the law requires us to, or if you violate our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information for money.
SECTION 4 — SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide the online platform that lets us sell to you, and your data is stored on their servers, behind their firewall.
Payment is handled by Shopify's payment gateway. Your card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and is retained only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase. Once the transaction is complete, the payment information is deleted.
Shopify's own privacy policy applies to what they do with data on their platform, alongside this one.
SECTION 5 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The third parties we use — payment processors, carriers, email providers, advertising and analytics platforms — will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to do the job we ask of them.
Each of them has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read the ones that matter to you. Some of these providers, including advertising platforms, may be located outside your country. If you are outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where the laws that apply to it are not the same as those in your own jurisdiction.
Once you leave our store or are redirected to a third-party site or application, this Privacy Policy no longer governs what happens.
SECTION 6 — SECURITY
We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practice to make sure your information is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. The site is served over SSL, and card data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our payment provider.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. What we can promise is that we do not store your card number ourselves at any point.
SECTION 7 — COOKIES
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We use them to keep your cart between pages, to remember your country and currency, to keep your session secure, and to measure how the store is used.
Some cookies are set by our advertising and analytics providers so that we can measure whether an advertisement led to a purchase. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the store will still work, but your cart may not survive a page reload.
SECTION 8 — AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that you are the age of majority and have given your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use the site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
SECTION 9 — YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Wherever you live, we will honour the following:
- Access — ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix anything that is wrong.
- Deletion — ask us to delete it, subject to the records we are legally required to keep, such as tax and order records.
- Objection and restriction — ask us to stop using it for marketing, or to limit how we use it.
- Portability — ask for it in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for anything we do on the basis of consent.
California residents. Under the CCPA and CPRA you may also request the categories of personal information we have collected, the purposes we collected them for, and the categories of third parties we shared them with. You may opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising at any time through our Your Privacy Choices page. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The rights above are the ones granted to you by the UK GDPR, PIPEDA, the Australian Privacy Act and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 respectively. Exercise them the same way: write to us.
To make a request, use our contact page. We answer within thirty days and we may need to verify your identity first — that verification protects you, not us.
SECTION 10 — CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted here. If we make a material change, we will say so on this page.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that they may continue selling to you.
QUESTIONS AND CONTACT INFORMATION
To access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we hold about you, to register a complaint, or simply to ask a question, write to us through our contact page.
